Sometimes we need to pay attention to the journey of grief and loss others are enduring before us.

You may not be in it now but a season of your own will come as transitions, death and mourning play no favorites and exempt no one.

You may realize your deep need to apply the lessons learned from the suffering of grievers to a stage that will be set before you in the near future.

Life is applicable in nature, in all things and in all seasons.

Learn from those who carry cups of tears. Their sorrow has much to offer you and greater strength than you can imagine.

Beautiful and profound. Painfully real in its repercussions. So necessary to know. Thanks for this reminder.

These words appeared to me last night as I watched the sunset. Ali and her dad immediately came to mind.

Yes, I love this Mel. Beautifully stated. Watching my mom journey through grief over the years, has been beautiful and admirable. It is easy to miss the gift of those who share their cup. Thank you for sharing these words.

So fitting as we walk through Ali Wilson’s family’s sadness and loss right now! God’s Word tells us to mourn with those who mourn. When I lost my mom, after looking after her for 6 years, it was just what she wanted…to be with Jesus…but our earthly loss was palpable! Having dear friends beside us was wonderful! Thank you for the reminder!

What I Know To Be True

Just when you find that sweet spot in life, that comfortable place, that uncanny familiar, change comes in like a flaming bat out of hell and whirlwinds all your comfortable up. If you’re limited in your thinking you’ll fight it every way you can. But, if you’re ready to grow, you’ll embrace change like a new love and let it lead you to growth you could never dream of but always sensed you desperately needed.
